Nobody wants you to subscribe to Public more than we do. We directly and personally benefit from your subscription. We love our readers. And we have big and exciting plans to expand our groundbreaking investigative and explanatory reporting, and we want you all to be here for those plans.
But Public might not be the right newsletter for you. You are likely to disagree with some of what we write and, let’s face it, disagreement doesn’t feel good. It’s particularly disappointing to discover someone you like or respect holds a radically different view on something important to you. Trust us: we know the feeling.
