Thank you David for exposing the darkness enveloping Brazil. It appears to be the same playbook in every "Democracy" that Open Society globalists take over: Brazil, Ireland, Spain, Poland, Germany, and the 5 Eyes USA/CAN/UK/AUS/NZ. The new NPR CEO is worth looking into. Her resume screams coordination with shadowy "stakeholders" like the WEF, CFR, and "US State Department": https://yuribezmenov.substack.com/p/commissar-npr-ceo-katherine-maher-she-her

Great work!

This just may be the most important story of our era (which is why you'll never see it in the MSM): the counter-revolution in response to the Peasants' Rebellions of 2016 and the globalist oligarchy's frantic campaign to smother dissent and to sideline (if not entirely outlaw) any politicians or political parties not under their control.

What's happening in Brazil is also happening in Poland, Germany, the UK, Canada, etc, wherever the American Deep State and the NGOocracy can infiltrate: the same charges of "disinformation", "Russian interference", "hate speech" and the same solution being demanded: total control of discourse, total control of politics and elections, all in the name of "saving Democracy" lolol.

This for me is one of the saddest, most infuriating, aspects:

"Brazil’s news media have promoted and defended censorship for several reasons. They view social media and independent journalism as an economic competitor. They are culturally and institutionally aligned with the government’s counterpopulism."

Talk about treason of the intellectuals! Turns out all the people who never stop preening about their devotion to tolerance and freedom only mean that they support these things as far as they control them. So much for the open society!

Yep. It's a global security state apparatus that looks to prevent another Brexit and Trump 2016.

It’s so incredibly evil and insidious. They’ve debased every word that could describe their actions, simply by throwing them as invective against every tiny act of resistance - everyone is a Nazi, a fascist, etc. These people are truly hell-bent on the destruction of civilization.

Brazil had its own, very bizarre, version of J6. The difference was that the protesters found no one around and the building closed, so they simply walked around the perimeter carrying their flags and then left. No damages, no injuries, no nothing. Sadly, the consequences for the protesters have been worse than their American counterparts, with thousands of them being handed very heavy jail sentences by the politicized courts. The difference is that in Brazil the trials happened in record time

A simple person here interested in maximizing our federal resources and eliminating waste and duplication. What if the FBI was not allowed to conduct operations outside the country and the CIA was not allowed to conduct operations inside our country. Or is that already in statute or regulation? Yes I suppose the FBIers are only "giving advice" or "sharing expertise" but conceivably that could be done (as with other feds) via Zoom, thereby saving travel funds and carbon.

At present, South Africa & Brazil are (in the eyes of 'Davos Man' & Friends) the weak spot of Multipolarity, which is why they will be hounded down using all the various organs of the 'Elite' & Deep State Cabal. In 2024 (& beyond) such Vile attacks will only Escalate:

Davos Man is Cornered by the Populist waves across the world, & being a cornered animal, he will fight back with every ounce of his being in order to prevent his Abolishment by the People.

So the FBI is running foreign psyops while the CIA runs domestic psyops.

Glad everyone is branching out to not only abuse their stated purposes, but also cause destabilization completely outside what the organizations are supposed to be doing.

The more people look, the more it seems there is no end to this corruption and influence. Thank you for diving into this! Wow.

Soros appears to be not all that intelligent based on the word salad descriptions he uses when speaking about speech he doesn't like and issues he wants to suppress in social media and the news. The lack of cogent analysis is so evident that while listening to him, I sort of glaze over at the banality and complete pointlessness of his words. The good news here is that groups like Public will continue to expose him and his organization, the FBI, CIA and DOJ involvment in censoring people and organizations here and abroad. Now it's only a matter of how many uncaptured minds will believe any of it. Liberals of today are so suspicious of anything not dogmatically left that it's hard to reach them. In fact it's nearly impossible even as they witness the infighting that is inevitable in a system that values groups and feeling over people and reason.

Has anyone at Public watched the Death of Stalin? That send-up beautifully captures the absurdity of authoritarian regimes and their pretense at truth telling all the while knowing that the game is whoever gains the most power controls everything.

Article after article after article regarding worldwide censorship programs. Most, if not all, tied to Soros and US 3-letter agencies. Do we really stand a chance? Or is it evidence that common sense is gaining traction and they’re in desperation mode?

Reporting the names and tactics of the censorship mechanisms is very important to the fight for free speech, but more effort needs to be invested in combat.

- There needs to be a clearinghouse where those censored can report what was censored and where it was censored.

- For those punished for censorship, their stories need to be told and publicized.

- What are the media with the heaviest censorship? Facebook?

- Are there media in Brazil currently escaping censorship? Substack?

- Are technologies like shortwave used to bypass censorship? Does Rumble need a shortwave offering?

- I'm sure there are many more potential tactics? Anyone have additional ideas?

- What are the narratives that Brazil's mainstream media are currently curating?

- Who are the biggest liars in government and media? Does Brazil have a Rachel Maddow?

Just brainstorming here. More?

It's so frustrating to keep reading about the undue influence of the Soros foundation that is wreaking havoc on our society and others throughout the world. Can nothing be done to stop Soros? It's like a real life Dr. No trying to take over the world. Where is James Bond when you need him?

To be fair, some people are very sensitive about being criticized. Sure they do sneaky, bad stuff, but they think so highly of themselves that changing their behavior is off the table. What's left? Silencing those who say critical, emotionally hurtful, true remarks. When you get your fani in a sling for your behavior, pretend that the statements are about your group even though it was only you who hired your inexperienced boyfriend as special prosecutor and went on trips he paid for. And it's difficult to be one of the 1% without a little shady business that you pretty much had to do to get out of the 99%. Say that people who are saying bad things about you are just prejudiced against your group. Put them on no-hire lists and watch lists and other lists. Don't change, just stop people talking about it. Because free speech is so especially hurtful when it's you.

This is great reporting, I wonder how Glenn Greenwald is doing to keep System Update afloat from Brazil? I would think Glenn would be a primary target of censorship.

The irony ?

Not a single one of the idiots at Soros' foundation has actually read Karl Popper's seminal work "Open Society and its Enemies". OR if they did read it they decided to side with the enemies part.
